Fade the Light of Day

Shadings, shrivelling shavings
penchant hues to haze
Waxing and waning
trickery abounding in every phaze

Possibility, no a sure probability
frayed spool, those loosened threads
Going GONE, the sight of light
rise RISE, the pitchest of night

Lone frayed thread in fear lingers
seeking refuge from suffocation
Pitchest of night without mercy
lone frayed thread, obliteration

Faded, gone now the light of day
resting in peace, full spectrum
Sighs of relief upon evening breeze
rising moonlight broken from bay
